  • Permanent Resident Travel Documents (for permanent residents who meet the residency obligation and are returning to Canada), and
  • submitting passports once your Permanent Resident application has been approved.
To avoid waiting outside the Embassy, you are encouraged to submit your application and documents by mail.

Our office will not immediately confirm receipt of your application and documents. If you need immediate confirmation, send your application and documents by registered mail. Every applicant is entitled to an official receipt for any fees paid.
