Tips for clients

The following tips may help make sure the Case Processing Centre (CPC) receives your application quickly and will show you how to find more information about application processing:

• When possible, please send applications to CPCs using a method that will provide you with a confirmation of receipt, such as Xpresspost™, available through Canada Post.
• Advise Citizenship and Immigration Canada as soon as possible if there are changes to the information you submitted. Use the Change of Address service if you have moved.
• Make sure your application contains all the necessary information.
• If your application is currently in process, use e-Client Application Status.
