  FRA:  Rapatriement des Canadiens d'origine japonaise
  SN:   On September 22, 1988 the Prime Minister          
        authorized a special grant of Canadian citizenship
        to persons of Japanese ancestry, still alive, who 
        were expelled from Canada and had their           
        citizenship revoked in the period 1941 to 1949.   
        Descendants were also eligible for citizenship as 
        long as they were living on September 22, 1988,   
        regardless of whether the person who actually     
        suffered is still alive.
