Announcement of settlement funding to help newcomers settle in London, Ontario
The Government of Canada wants to help newcomers succeed. To help newcomers settle in London and the surrounding area, it is committing more than $3 million to seven agencies that provide settlement services.
The funding is provided under the Canada-Ontario Immigration Agreement. Listed below are the seven agencies receiving a portion of the more than $3 million in today’s announcement:
- Cross Cultural Learner Centre: $1,712,763
- South London Neighbourhood Resource Centre: $366,446
- London District Catholic School Board $247,143
- Thames Valley District School Board: $148,643
- Mennonite Central Committee of Ontario: $456,622
- YWCA of
St. Thomas: $65,050
- Association canadienne-française de l’Ontario: $155,710
