Announcement of settlement funding to help newcomers settle in Hamilton
The Government of Canada wants to help newcomers succeed. To help newcomers settle in Hamilton, it is committing more than $11 million to four organizations that provide settlement services to immigrants in the Hamilton area.
The funding is provided under the Canada-Ontario Immigration Agreement. Listed below are the organizations receiving a portion of the $11 million in today’s announcement.
- Settlement and Integration Services Organization: $9,105,346
- Mohawk College of Applied Arts and Technology: $848,295
- Hamilton-Wentworth Catholic District School Board: $103,315
- AAT School: $1,404,323
