Annie Lafleur
Prior to her appointment to the Board, Ms. Lafleur worked at Citizenship and Immigration Canada for over eight years, where she held a number of positions including Regional Program Advisor, Client Services Supervisor and Visa Officer in India. Ms. Lafleur has a Bachelor of Laws from the Université de Sherbrooke and was admitted to the Quebec Bar in April 2002.
Luis F. Agostinho
Prior to his appointment to the Board, Mr. Agostinho was a prosecutor with the Region of York. He was owner and director of a paralegal business for over six years. Mr. Agostinho also worked in the law enforcement field where he served with the Metropolitan Toronto Police Service and the Halton Regional Police Service. He completed a three-year course in Law Enforcement, Police Administration and Management and a five-year course in Advanced Police Sciences, all three at Humber.
Ronald Yamauchi
Prior to his appointment to the Board, Mr. Yamauchi worked as a hearing officer with the Canada Border Service Agency. He has held the position of Refugee Hearing Officer with the IRB and received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Simon Fraser University.
