NARRATOR: You’ve made the decision to go... Now you’re getting ready for your trip. If you’re like the Martinez family, you’re poring over maps and deciding what you want to see in Canada.

NARRATOR: Along with your passport, you’ll need a visa.

NARRATOR: You can apply directly to Canada’s Embassy in Mexico City. Or you can use the services of one of three Visa Application Centres in Mexico. You’ll find them in Mexico City, Monterrey and Guadalajara.

NARRATOR: The Centres are there to assist you with submitting your visa application – including study and work permits.

NARRATOR: The staff there can assist by checking your visa application. They’ll make sure it’s properly completed and that you’ve included the right documents.

NARRATOR: Visa Application Centres operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. You don’t need an appointment.

NARRATOR: They offer services in Spanish, English and French. Staff can answer your questions about the application process and assign a tracking number so you can check the status of your application online.

NARRATOR: If you’re unable to go in person, call the Centre nearest you and arrange to deliver your application. Or ask your travel agent to deliver it for you.
