Which documents should I send with my application to replace my citizenship certificate?
You will have to send different documents based on your situation, as follows.
- You must provide clear photocopies of your documents, unless otherwise stated. If you have any other type of citizenship proof (such as a certificate of naturalization or pink transmission copy), you must send that original document with your application. If you want to keep it as a souvenir, please attach a letter asking Citizenship and Immigration Canada to send it back to you.
