If I paid for a citizenship application for a family member and got a letter, can I use CAS?
No. The person who pays for the application gets the acknowledgment letter. However, only the principal applicant (the person who applies to come to Canada) can see the status of the application in Client Application Status (CAS) once processing has begun on the application.
