Can I send a new document after I submit my online application?

No. Once you have submitted your online application, you cannot send other documents unless an officer asks for them.

When an officer asks for a new or replacement document, you will get a notification in your My Messages box in MyCIC. Click “View Checklist,” then upload the requested document by clicking the “Upload” button. Once you have uploaded your document, follow the steps to transmit the document that the system will present to you.
