Will CIC process parent and grandparent sponsorship applications received on or after November 5, 2011?

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) stopped accepting new applications on November 5, 2011. The Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, will keep processing any applications that arrived before November 5, 2011. It will return any applications and fees received on or after November 5, 2011.

Please do not call the Call Centre to ask about the status of your application. Wait for an acknowledgement of receipt or for your application to be returned.
