Can I use Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada (LINC) for my Canadian Experience Class application?
No. LINC is a program to help permanent residents improve their language abilities. You cannot use it to prove you meet the language requirements under the Canadian Experience Class. You must take the test through an agency designated by Citizenship and Immigration Canada. The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) General Test, the Canadian English Language Proficiency Index Program (CELPIP) General Test and Test d’évaluation de français (TEF) are the only test results you can use for the CEC.
