How do I renew my study permit while I am in Canada?

You must submit an application for a new study permit to the Case Processing Centre before your initial status expires. You may also be eligible to apply for a study permit online.

If your study permit has expired, you must leave Canada. In some cases, you may be able to extend your stay. However, you cannot study until an official allows you to stay longer in Canada.
