Can I replace my citizenship certificate if there are spelling or other mistakes on it?
Yes. We will replace your citizenship certificate free of charge if you ask for a new citizenship certificate within 90 days after you took the oath or within 90 days after the certificate was mailed to you by the Case Processing Centre in Sydney (CPC-Sydney). You must return your certificate to CPC-Sydney with a note that explains what mistakes need to be fixed to CPC-Sydney.
You will have to apply for a proof of citizenship and pay the fee if you do not ask for a replacement certificate within 90 days after you took the oath or within 90 days after the certificate was mailed to you by the CPC-Sydney.
