I am included in another permanent residency application. Should I still apply for permanent resident status under the Canadian Experience Class?
Anyone who meets the eligibility criteria for the CEC is free to apply. You may have more than one application in process, but only one application can be finalized at the time that a visa is issued. Any additional applications must be withdrawn or refused before the permanent resident visa can be issued. To request a second application be withdrawn contact your visa office. Otherwise, the visa office will finalize any other application(s) as refused and inform you in advance of granting permanent residence.
