Applying for a Work Permit — Student

Submitting your application
If you are applying under the following programs:
- Post-Graduation Work Permit Program
- Co-Op Work Program
- Off-Campus Work Permit Program
Submitting applications electronically
- You may submit your application for either the Off-Campus Work Permit Program or the Post-Graduation Work Permit Program electronically by following the instructions on our website.
Note: For the purposes of the Off-Campus Work Permit Program, you may submit your application electronically if you are currently attending one of the participating institutions listed on CIC’s website.
Mailing your application
And if family members are applying to extend their stay, study or work in Canada; include
all applications in the same envelope.
- Put all the completed forms, supporting documents and fee payment receipt in
a large envelope.
- Address the envelope as follow:
