New citizenship study guide and test

How do I know whether to study the old citizenship study guide, A Look at Canada, or the new study guide, Discover Canada?

Study the new guide, Discover Canada, if:

• You have applied for citizenship and your test or interview is scheduled after the 15th of March 2010. CIC will send you a copy of the new guide, even if you were already sent the old guide.

Study the old guide, A Look at Canada, if:

• Your test or interview is scheduled before the 15th of March 2010. A Look at Canada will continue to be available on the CIC website until March 2010. If you need a copy please contact the CIC call centre.

The Discover Canada study guide is a more comprehensive study tool and we encourage all applicants, regardless of when they are scheduled to write the test, to read and understand its contents.
