How to Get a Police Certificate - Tajikistan

If you need to give your fingerprints for a police certificate, this isn’t the same as giving your biometrics (fingerprints and photo) for an application.

How to get a Police Certificate:

If you are a citizen of Tajikistan:

If you live in Tajikistan:

You should apply in person at your local police station and ask for your certificate to be issued by the Information Centre of the Ministry of Interior in Dushanbe or by an Information Centre of your region (Sogdyiskaya, Khatlonskaya or Gorno-Badakhshanskaya). You may also give a representative power of attorney to apply on your behalf.

If you live outside of Tajikistan:

You can apply at the Consular Section of your nearest Embassy of Tajikistan.

If you are not a citizen of Tajikistan:

Special notes and considerations

The police certificate must indicate all names you have used while in Tajikistan.

The Embassy accepts only original police certificates. Print-outs of online search results and electronic certificates are not acceptable.
