Processing times for provincial nominee applications

The tables below indicate application processing times at Canadian visa offices. The times are based on how long it took to process 80 percent of all cases finalized between July 1, 2014 to June 30, 2015. Processing times are subject to change.

These processing times only apply to the federal part of the processing (at the visa office) once we have received the complete application. It does not include the time it takes for the province or territory to process the nomination certificate.

Note: Our goal is to process most complete applications received under Express Entry in six months or less. Since Express Entry is a new system, average processing times are not yet available for applications submitted through Express Entry.
