These pictures tell a story. What’s yours?

Canada is proud of its diverse Asian population, hailing from as far east as Japan and as far west as Turkey. Tell Us Your Story is an initiative that encourages Canadians of Asian heritage to share the most interesting and memorable experiences of their lives in Canada.

Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) will be collecting stories and photographs from Canadians of Asian heritage throughout the year. Many of the stories and photographs will be posted online and may be used in future Asian Heritage Month promotional materials.

Conditions:

  • You must be an adult to participate (Age of majority by province).
  • Photo descriptions and stories are limited to 250 words. CIC reserves the right to edit entries for style, length and content.
  • Anyone, other than the submitter, who appears in a photograph, will be asked to sign a waiver allowing CIC to use the picture.

In submitting your photograph or story, you agree that CIC may use them in future Asian Heritage Month promotional materials. Submissions will not be returned.
