Participate in contests and awards
Paul Yuzyk Award for Multiculturalism
The Paul Yuzyk Award commemorates the late Senator Yuzyk’s pioneering legacy establishing multiculturalism as one of the fundamental characteristics of Canadian identity.
Award for Excellence in Holocaust Education
This special award recognizes excellence in Holocaust education. It is being presented in conjunction with the Canadian Chair Year of the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
The War of 1812
To recognize the War of 1812’s impact on Canadian history, Citizenship and Immigration Canada will mark the bicentenary with activities, and the development of educational resources to be featured throughout the commemoration period.
