Buying furniture and appliances

You will probably need some basic furniture and appliances to live comfortably in your new home.

There are many different stores that sell new furniture. In addition, used furniture and appliances can be found for sale in the classified advertising section of your local newspaper, used furniture stores or on the Internet.

An immigrant-serving organization may be able to recommend good sources for furniture in your community.
