1.3 Methodology
The approach used to complete the review of the ICO Network involved a combination of site visits, in-person interviews, telephone interviews and mail-out questionnaires. Visits were completed to nine ICO locations:(section removed)
In-person interviews were conducted with a number of HQ personnel from the following groups:
- IR
- Enforcement Branch
- Case Management Branch
Telephone interviews and a mail-out survey were used to obtain input from ICO positions abroad.
Interviews were also conducted with representatives of other countries to obtain a description of how their comparative ICO network is set up, what issues they are facing and how they intend to address them. (Please refer to Appendix A for a brief description of comparative ICO network models.)
