3.4. Quality Assurance

The IPM reviews a variety of cases that are referred to her, and discusses problematic issues with the DIOs, CBOs and NIO at their biweekly meetings. The IPM has recently introduced a quality assurance process, whereby a number of cases are selected randomly and the files are examined to ensure they are being processed properly. The cases reviewed include all business lines and all officers’ cases. The local quality assurance process currently underway will undoubtedly strengthen program integrity, until the departmental quality assurance model is implemented in the near future.
