Canadian experience class selection criteria – Official language proficiency

Applications received on or before November 15, 2022

The applicant must demonstrate that they meet the minimum language proficiency requirements for the occupational skill type or level in which they have obtained most of their qualifying work experience. Official language proficiency requirements for Canadian experience class applicants may be found in the Language requirements section.

Applications received on or after November 16, 2022

The applicant must demonstrate that they meet the minimum language proficiency requirements for the occupational Training, Education, Experience and Responsibilities category in which they have obtained most of their qualifying work experience. Official language proficiency requirements for Canadian experience class applicants may be found in the Language requirements section.
